Baby’s Story

History:  Baby was brought into animal control by a family member who thought he was not being cared for properly.

About:  Baby is a sweet, laid-back kind of guy.  He is deaf due to severe ear infections. His foster home has taught him some basic hand signals (stay, come).  He also has some age related vision issues that don’t seem to limit him very much. Baby is being fostered with both cats and dogs and gets along very well with both.  He can be a bit forward meeting new cats, (probably because he has to get a little more close to see them!) Baby is pretty much your perfect senior dog who mostly likes to lounge around most of the day.  He is good in a crate, but his foster home just gates him into one room while they are gone. Baby is housetrained but will still occasionally mark so he wears a belly band in his foster home to make it easier.  His foster mom used the following words to describe him: Mellow, Loyal, Curious, Adorable, Sweet. Maybe you’ve been thinking about adopting a senior because they are so often overlooked? Baby would be a great, easy companion for anyone.
