We are honored to be able to help both Booker and his previous owner by finding a new home for Booker.
AGE: About 2 years
ABOUT: Booker is a very friendly, social, and outgoing pup. He is a young guy so he has typical young-dog energy. In his foster home he gets up to 2.5mile runs which tires him out pretty well. He is pretty chill once he gets some exercise. His foster says he is the best mix of calm and cuddly while at home, but active and excited when it’s time for walks. Booker also loves to play tug and likes to obliterate rubber toys. He isn’t a huge fan of his crate and it is one of the rare instances that will cause him to bark. Because he is completely housebroken his foster home opted to leave him gated in a smaller area of the home and he is much more agreeable to that and has never caused any damage. He’s got some commands under his belt including: Sit, Shake, Down, Off, No, Walk, Eat, Hungry, and Speak. He is learning to walk better on a leash; his weakness is other dogs. He thinks that every dog wants to meet him and be his friend. He loves people and is very eager to please. Booker is not stingy with kisses. His foster says: “Booker is one of the best dogs I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He is the perfect combination of fun and energetic and calm and sleepy.
