Cooper’s Story

History:  Stray from animal control.  Adopted and then returned because they were moving unexpectedly and he couldn’t come with.

About: Cooper’s foster mom describes him as outgoing, playful, social, and curious.  He is being fostered in a condo and he always runs to the front door when he hears someone come in the building entrance.  Just incase they are coming to visit him.  He happily greets any visitors.  Cooper has his bursts of playfulness and loves to play with ribbons or wand toys.  He also plays with the laser pointer and he loves to hide the shower drain cover from his foster mom.  He’s kind of a quirky guy and he loves to roll around in clean (only clean) litter. He has perfect litter box habits.  He can be equally social and independent.  He loves attention, following his people around, and getting in the way.  But he is by no means needy. He loves to look out the window and watch the people walk by.  He hates going in his carrier, but once at the vet they said he was one of the easiest-to-handle cats they had seen in awhile.  He allowed his foster mom to trim his nails without any fuss.  He is a great balance of: affectionate but not needy; independent but not aloof; playful but not hyper; and outgoing but not annoying.  He is really an awesome cat.
Cooper would prefer to live in a home as the only pet.  He does not appreciate dogs, but he could potentially go to an experienced home with a non-alpha female cat.
