Faith’s Story

History:  Faith was found as a stray and brought to a local veterinarian’s office.  She had experienced some severe head trauma and would not have likely lasted too much longer due to her physical condition and the weather.  Upon intake she was experiencing seizures from the brain swelling and some vision loss. Faith has been given weeks of R&R and her seizures have stopped completely and her vision appears to have returned to normal.

About:  Faith is a happy, bouncy, playful, friendly girl.  She gets along very well with the small dogs and cats in her foster home.  She thinks everyone should play with her, the cat and 100 year old chihuahua included.  She takes their corrections well when she is being a little too “young” for the resident pets.  Faith is very active and playful so she MUST be adopted into a home with another young, playful dog.  Faith is housetrained and is currently not allowed on the couch so her adoptive home can make that decision for themselves.  She is content to sit in her dog beds throughout the house.. Faith does experience some anxiety when she is separated from the people or other pets in the home, but has done fabulously now that she is allowed to roam free with the other pets while no one is home.  Faith loves toys and has a cute habit of bringing every toy from the toy box to her “spot.” She likes to sit in the middle of all the toys once she has emptied the box. Faith loves people and is probably happiest when she is able to be around her humans.
