Ginger’s Story

History:  Ginger was surrendered during a CRISP (https://www.crispchicago.com/) shift when her owner could no longer care for her.

About:  Ginger is a mellow, super sweet, gentle older lady.  Ginger experiences some hind-end mobility issues so she isn’t as nimble as she once was.  She will need help navigating any stairs in her forever home, but she will come with her assistance harness when adopted.  Ginger has been around large and small dogs and is very appropriate, but will need to be around dogs who can respect her physical limitations.  She is truly a gentle soul so we also think she will be fine with children, but they also must be able to respect her limitations. Ginger is very calm and is not at all demanding, but she does thrive on a schedule. This low energy lady likes to spend most of her day lounging.  She does like to be around people and always seems to find her way to the room that you are in. Despite her mobility issues, Ginger never hesitates to sit up to give your hand a nudge if she’s in the mood for some scratches. She also absolutely loves car rides! Help Ginger live out the rest of her life in a loving, comfortable, caring home.
