History: Kiwi was surrendered during CRISP (www.crispchicago.com) because she had a tumor on her belly and her owner was not the original caretaker and could no longer care for her. We partnered with Live Like Roo (www.livelikeroo.org) to have her tumor removed. About: Kiwi is a supreme snuggler. It is her best talent and biggest love in life. She will snuggle with anyone and everyone. Kiwi is being fostered with multiple dogs a cat and a bird. While she doesn’t play much with the other dogs, she is polite and friendly with them after she has time to get comfortable around them. She doesn’t pay any attention to the cat or the bird. We know you’re never supposed to mention a lady’s weight, but at 15lbs Kiwi is trying to lose a few. Kiwi has some typical smaller dog traits where she will sometimes try to write the rules if you let her, so she will be her best self in a home that can establish a few rules for her. Kiwi does not need to be crated while you are gone as she is very respectful of the home. She is also housetrained and does well with a yard or with leash walks. Kiwi makes a nice little alert dog as she will let you know if someone is at the door. If your lap is feeling a little cold Kiwi would love to hop on to warm you up.
