Little Rocky’s Story

History:  Little Rocky was surrendered to CACC because his family was moving and their new home didn’t allow any pets.

About:  Do you love tennis balls? Yes? Little Rocky might be your soul mate!  We have never seen a chihuahua with such a ball drive. Rocky loves to play fetch and brings the tennis ball right back to you and drops it.  Daily fetch is a requirement for this guy. When he gets tired he will bring it back and plop down next to you so he can play with the ball by himself.  Little Rocky is very affectionate and loves to give kisses to his people, so you can’t have a dog tongue phobia if you want to adopt this guy. Little Rocky is a super happy guy whose tail never stops wagging!  He was briefly fostered with a 100lb dog and after his initial terror wore off he did very well with him, but didn’t have much interest in actually interacting. Little Rocky is a super sweet, easy dog, but like many small dogs he might have the potential to think he is the king of the castle, so his ideal home will be able to maintain a level of rules and boundaries so it doesn’t go to his head. We were told that Little Rocky lived with children between 3-13 years, but we have only seen him with a few children out on walks.  He does very well, but any children would need to have a good foundation in respect for dogs because he is a little guy.
