On May 1st, 2016 we launched CRISP (Chicagoland Rescue Intervention & Support Program) – a way to help pets and families in the Chicagoland area stay healthy and stay together. This initiative pools the resources of local rescues to work in concert with Chicago Animal Care and Control to provide assistance and support for pet owners in need, divert owner surrendered animals to accredited rescues, and ultimately reduce the number of dogs and cats surrendered at Chicago Animal Care and Control.

Lulu’s Locker Rescue is proud to be part of this program and partnership with One Tail at a Time, Fetching Tails Foundation, Live Like Roo Foundation, Alive Rescue, Chicago Canine Rescue, MCP Rescue and Outreach, and Peace for Pits.

We are really excited about this partnership and what it means for many homeless dogs and cats in Chicago. We are always looking for Foster Parents to help make this program a success! Apply here!

Please like CRISP on Facebook and keep up-to-date on the weekly rescues and events!
