Hat Trick’s Story

History:  (Hat) Trick has quite the story to tell.  He was found in December on the streets of Qatar. His muzzle was taped shut and he was being attacked by other dogs at the encouragement of a group of young men on the street.  A Good Samaritan picked him up and took him to Paws Rescue Qatar where he received medical attention. He was treated for shock, some very deep wounds and his left rear leg had a spiral fracture. That leg was amputated when it failed to heal properly after surgery to pin it.  His rescuers in Qatar worked to get him to the US so he could have a better life.  Trick arrived in Chicago on March 22nd.

About:  Although Trick bears physical scars, his spirit is intact.  He is definitely a glass half full type of dog.  He absolutely loves other dogs and is great with people and children.  (He was fostered with twin 7 year old girls in Qatar.)  He is very playful with other dogs and loves a good game of bitey-face or a full on romp around outside.  He was a bit too interested in cats so we do not feel comfortable adopting him to homes with cats.  He is completely housebroken. Trick is great with kids and other dogs so we would love to see him adopted to a home with one, or the other, or both!
